We connect securely to your Klaviyo account via OAuth, analyze your email profiles that are sent via webhook actions for potential bounces and deliverability issues, then make actions based on your preferences to automatically clean problematic contacts.
Yes, we use OAuth 2.0 with PKCE for secure authentication and encrypt all tokens. We never store your email data permanently and only access what's necessary for cleaning operations.
Each email is verified internally and given a quality score from 0–100, showing how likely it is to be valid and deliverable. A score of 0 means Undeliverable, 1–79 is Risky, and 80–100 is Safely Deliverable.
The score is calculated using checks like domain validity, bounce history, and whether the address looks disposable or inactive.
A higher score means greater confidence that the email will deliver successfully and have higher opens and clicks. You can use this score to fine-tune your suppression settings — for example, automatically suppressing emails below a certain score to protect your deliverability and sender reputation.
We use a credit-based system. The minimum purchase is 500 credits for $6.99, which can clean up to 500 email addresses. Credits never expire.
We identify potential hard bounces, invalid email formats, role-based emails, disposable email addresses, and other deliverability risks.
"Risky" email addresses are ones with poor quality or low deliverability. They may technically exist, but often have issues that prevent reliable engagement. We call them "risky" because using them can harm the overall performance and quality of your campaigns.
Every profile that gets screened by our integration gets a regular check up event sent to their profile and the profiles who become suppressed state the source and the reason for suppression
Yes. Mail Ward supports multiple Klaviyo accounts under a single Mail Ward login. Connect each account via OAuth from your dashboard and switch between them using the account switcher. Suppression and screening stats are tracked per account, while credits and lifetime totals are shared across all of them.
